About ScriptReaders
Proofreading is mechanical work that costs researchers weeks and thousands. We automated the mechanical part so the price and the wait stop deciding whose research gets read properly.
Good research gets rejected for avoidable reasons.
Reviewers are not supposed to judge a paper on its English. In practice, writing that is hard to follow makes sound work look weaker than it is — and the researchers most affected are those writing in an additional language, at under-funded institutions, without an editing budget.
Language, citation, and formatting errors are exactly the kind of problem software is good at. Automating them removes the cost barrier without touching the part that has to stay human: your research.
- We check how your manuscript is written, never what it claims
- Every suggestion is explained and yours to dismiss
- Your unpublished work is never used to train models
Trained on academic writing specifically.
General-purpose grammar tools are trained on general-purpose prose, which is why they flag legitimate academic constructions and miss conventions that matter to reviewers. Ours is built for scholarly writing.
Figures are indicative and under review — confirm before launch.
Four commitments we do not bend on.
We will not write your paper
The engine corrects language and formatting. It does not generate content, construct arguments, produce analysis, or write sections for you. That boundary protects your authorship, and it is not negotiable regardless of what a deadline demands.
We will not promise acceptance
No proofreading service controls peer review. We remove avoidable reasons for rejection — unclear language, broken citations, wrong formatting. Whether your paper is accepted is the journal’s decision and nobody else’s.
Your manuscript will not train our models
Unpublished research uploaded here is not used as training data, is not shared with third parties for that purpose, and is not published as a sample. Confidentiality is the default, not an upgrade.
Nothing changes without your approval
Every finding is a proposal with the reasoning attached. You accept or dismiss each one. A tool that silently rewrote a researcher’s work would be worse than no tool at all.
